Purpose of the BSOA
The Business Students Association of Ontario (BSOA) is a student-run organization that strives to promote engagement and networking among business students in the province. The BSOA hosts its annual general meeting this week, where members will elect new board members and vote on proposed amendments to the association’s constitution. Election of Officers
The Business Students Association of Ontario (BSOA) will hold its annual general meeting this week. The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 5th, in the Atrium of the John H. Silver Institute at York University.

Appointments to Committees

This year’s agenda includes a review of the BSOA’s fiscal year and a vote to elect board members. Approval of the BSOA Financial Statements
The Business Students Association of Ontario (BSOA) is hosting its annual general meeting this week. The conference aims to approve the BSOA financial statements for the 2017-2018 academic year.
According to president Rohit Sharma, the financial statements show a surplus of $123,000. Sharma says the association is doing well financially and can continue investing in its programs and services. He adds that the rest will improve membership services and increase student scholarships.
Members of the BSOA will have an opportunity to speak at the meeting about their concerns or recommendations for future policies. Sharma says that feedback from members is essential for making good decisions about the association’s direction.
Other Business
This week, the Business Students Association of Ontario (BSOA) hosts its annual general meeting. The conference will occur on Wednesday, March 28th, in the Sennar Centre. The agenda includes a review of the past year and preparations for the upcoming one. There will also be a vote on the new officers for BSOA.
This year, six positions are up for election: President, Vice-President External, Vice-President Internal, Secretary/Treasurer, Director of Events, and Diversity Officer. Candidates include current officers as well as newly elected representatives from different faculties.
BSOA aims to promote relationships between students in business disciplines and to provide resources and opportunities for networking. The association provides financial support to student clubs and groups across campus. In addition to its regular programming, BSOA has recently announced plans to organize an entrepreneurship competition in 2019.
